Further functions and offers of our website
In addition to the purely informative use of our website, we offer various services that you can use if you are interested. For this purpose, you must provide further personal data which we will use to provide the respective service and to which the aforementioned data processing principles apply. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1) (a), (b) and (f) DSGVO. 2.2.
In some cases, we use external service providers to process your data. They have been carefully selected and commissioned by us, and they are bound by our instructions and checked regularly.

External websites

Newsletter
With your consent, you can receive additional information via email about the safe and efficient transport of tools and material as well as product news, promotions and projects.
To subscribe to receive this information via our email newsletter, we use the so-called double opt-in method. This means that after you have registered, we will send you an email to the email address provided, in which we will ask you to confirm that you wish to receive the newsletter. The purpose of this method is to verify your registration and to prevent a possibly unwanted registration.
The only information we require to send the newsletter is your email address. The provision of further, separately marked data is voluntary and will be used to address you personally. After your confirmation, we will save your email address for the purpose of sending you the newsletter. The legal basis is Art. 6(1) (a) GDPR. We will also store your IP address and the time of registration and confirmation. The purpose of this process is to verify your registration and, if necessary, resolve any possible misuse of your data.
We would like to point out that we evaluate your user behaviour when sending the newsletter. For this analysis, the emails sent contain so-called web beacons or tracking pixels, which are one-pixel files stored on our website. For evaluation purposes, we link the data shown under “Collection of personal data when visiting our website” and the web beacons to your email address and an individual ID.
Links included in the newsletter also contain this ID. With the data obtained in this way, we create a user profile to customise the newsletter to your individual interests. This means we can record when you read our newsletter, which links in it you click on, and deduce your personal interests from this. We link these data with how you use our website.
After you have been removed from the newsletter distribution list, your email address will be stored by us or the newsletter service provider in a blacklist, if necessary, in order to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist are only used for this purpose and are not merged with other data. This serves both your interests and our interests in complying with the legal requirements for sending newsletters (legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6(1) (f) DSGVO). Storage in the blacklist is indefinite. You may object to the storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interests.
You can revoke your consent at any time and discontinue the receipt of information about current and future projects. You can declare your revocation by clicking on the link provided in every newsletter email, by sending an email to [email protected], or by contacting us in one of the ways listed above.

We use Google Remarketing, a web advertising service of Google, on our website. This enables the display of interest-related advertisements in that users who have visited or used websites and offers can be addressed again with appropriate advertising offers on websites of the Google partner network. Google uses cookies for this. These are small text files consisting of a specific sequence of numbers (Cookie ID), which Google places and stores on your computer. Google uses these cookies to recognise your browser when you visit other websites and to show you interest-related advertisements. The information generated by the cookie may be transmitted to and saved on a Google server in the USA. To display corresponding advertising, Google may also use your browser’s IP address.
Please note that Google Remarketing is a service of a third company (Google) that is independent of us and whose data processing procedures we are unable to influence. Further information on how Google uses the collected data and Google’s privacy conditions can be found at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
If you do not wish to receive any interest-based advertising, you can prevent the storage of cookies by Google by adjusting the settings in your browser software.

We use Google Optimize, a service of Google ("Google Optimize"). Google Optimize analyses the use of different versions of the website so that we are able to adapt the user-friendliness to the behaviour of the website user. Google Optimize is a tool incorporated into Google Analytics and uses cookies.
The IP address received in this way is anonymised immediately after being processed. In exceptional cases, the full IP address is transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The IP address sent by your browser will not be connected with other data from Google.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by making an appropriate setting in your browser.
However, we would point out that if you do this not all the functions of this website can be used to their full extent. You can also prevent the data generated by cookies and concerning your use of the website from being collected by Google, and the processing of these data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
We use the marketing automation system Microsoft Dynamics 365 Cloud for Marketing of the provider Microsoft Corporation (Microsoft Deutschland GmbH, Walter-Gropius-Strasse 5, 80807 Munich) – hereinafter “Microsoft” – to carry out marketing campaigns, for analytical purposes and to address specific customers and potential customers. Data processing takes place within the European Union.
Microsoft is listed in the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield; see https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000KzNaAAK&status=Active . Microsoft uses the user data only for technical processing of the enquiries and does not pass them on to third parties.
In particular, we use the system to send email communications (e.g. in connection with the provision of downloads), for event management (e.g. the administration of event participants) as well as for the provision of landing pages and contact forms.
The use of the provider Microsoft and of the system, the performing of statistical surveys and analyses as well as the logging of the registration procedure for communicating by email take place on the basis of your consent to email communication via Microsoft Dynamics 365 Cloud for Marketing. We strive towards a user-friendly and secure system that serves both our business interests and the expectations of our users and also allows us to provide proof of consent.
The system components (e.g. forms) incorporated into our online offer use so-called “cookies”, which are stored on the user’s computer and enable us to analyse how the website is used. In particular, the following information is collected: client ID, the geographical location, the type of browser, the duration of the visit and the pages visited.
Anonymised email tracking: Statistical data collection also includes an analysis of whether the newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked on. This information may be technically assigned to individual newsletter recipients but does not permit the analysis of personal data; information on newsletter recipients is only analysed after being pseudonymised and cannot be decrypted and assigned to individual persons.
Double opt-in and logging: Subscribing to our newsletter takes place in a so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that after registration the user will receive an email in which they are asked to confirm their subscription. This confirmation is necessary so that no one can register with other people's email addresses. A record of subscriptions to the newsletter is kept to fulfil the legal requirements for recording the subscription process. This includes the storage of the registration and confirmation time, as well as the IP address. Changes to the user data stored with the mailing service provider are also logged.
Cancellation/revocation: The user can cancel their subscription to our newsletter at any time, i.e. revoke their consent. The user will find a link to cancel the subscription to the newsletter at the end of each newsletter. If the user has cancelled their subscription to the newsletter, the user’s personal data processed for sending the newsletter will be deleted.
More details on data protection can be found in Microsoft’s privacy policy located at https://privacy.microsoft.com/de-de/privacystatement.
Users can find further information on the use of cookies in connection with the system at https://learn.microsoft.com/de-de/dynamics365/marketing/cookies.
This website uses Mouseflow, a web analysis tool from Mouseflow ApS, Flaesketorvet 68, 1711 Copenhagen, Denmark, to record randomly selected individual visits (only with anonymised IP address). The data collected by Mouseflow are not personal in nature and will not be passed on to third parties. The collected data are stored and processed within the EU.
If you do not want information recorded by Mouseflow, you can deactivate this on all websites that use Mouseflow by visiting the following link: www.mouseflow.com/de/opt-out.
